PLS 400A
is a Silane grafted, polyolefin insulation compound for faster crosslinking. It is designed to be used with Plascom’s PLS 420 catalyst master batch added at a rate of 5 wt.%. The extruded combination is crosslinkable on exposure to hot water / low pressure steam or ambient. It is suitable for use in both copper and aluminium cored (Low Voltage) power cables.
PLS 405
is a silane grafted, polyolefin based insulation compound. It is designed to be used, at a rate of 89% with 11 wt.% of Plascom’s PLS 425 catalyst master batch. The extruded combination is cross linkable on exposure to hot water or low pressure steam. It contains 2.5 wt. % of a well dispersed carbon black pigment and a stabilisation package to impart long term thermo-oxidative and photo-oxidative degradation resistance to the finished cable. It is suitable for low voltage overhead or weather service drop cable insulation.
PLS 400A-SR
is a Silane grafted, polyolefin insulation compound for faster crosslinking. It is identical to PLS 400A except that it contains special stabilization package to render resistance against SUNLIGHT. It is designed to be used with Plascom PLS 420 catalyst master batch added at a rate of 5 wt.%. The extruded combination is faster crosslinkable on exposure to hot water / low pressure steam or ambient. It is suitable for use in both copper and aluminium cored low voltage power cables.
PLS 500AC
is an Atmospheric cure L.V Silane grafted, polyolefin insulation compound. It is specially developed to render, rapid curing of L.V Silane XLPE insulated cores in natural atmospheric conditions without using sauna or hot water bath. It is designed to be used @90% with 10% of PLS 520AC catalyst master batch for optimum curing results.
PLS 505AC
(Atmospheric cure) is a silane grafted polyolefin insulation compound, specially modified to render rapid crosslinking in atmospheric conditions. It is designed to be used, at a rate of 83.5% with 16.5 wt.% of Plascom’s PLS 525AC catalyst master batch for low voltage overhead and weather service drop cable insulation.
